The Project

Our friends at Blackland Distillery have been working on a new product for over 3 years and are ready to launch it in a BIG way. They came to us with the idea to tease the product through a series of fun videos to be released on social media. We went to work on developing creative concepts and decided on 3 short teasers and 1 reveal video. The objective of the videos was to creatively pique the interest of seasoned, experienced whiskey drinkers and excite them of a new product on the rise, Blackland Prairie Gold Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey.

The Process

Our team presented 4 different concepts to the Blackland team that creatively teased a secret project they were working on. Fortunately, Blackland loved every concept and requested that we combined elements from all four into one campaign— talk about a great challenge to have! We moved on to build the scripts, secure the voice over talent, and film over three days in-studio and on-location at the distillery.

The Result

The video campaign was released on Blackland’s social channels over the course of several weeks up until their product launch in December. Blackland’s community absolutely reveled over this highly anticipated product so we would say it was, indeed, a successful campaign!
